Welcome!

From earliest memory, I served alongside my parents in Vacation Bible School, Children’s Church, AWANA, Holland Rescue Mission, and nursing homes, learning how to reach people for Jesus and developing a passion for missions. In 2018, I arrived in Togo to serve for 14 months with ABWE (Association of Baptist for World Evangelism). I went with the intent to focus on media as my ministry. However, God had so much more.

Shortly after I arrived I asked one of the missionaries who overseas the Christian schools ministy, “If there were any children with special needs or who were deaf that I could work with?” She replied, “YES! In matter of fact we have our first deaf student, a 7 year old boy named Jonas.” Little did I know how much this little boy would have an impact on me. Watch his story here:

One of the biggest lessons I learned in Togo was that God uses every aspect of your life. In 2015, I graduated from Liberty University with a degree in Studio and Digital Arts and a minor in American Sign Language. I went to Togo to do media, and I did. But God also opened the door for this wonderful deaf ministry.

I want to invite you to be a part of my team! Will you commit to pray for me? Also, would you consider becoming a financial partner? You can give a special one -time gift or monthly gifts. Any amount will be greatly appreciated and put to a good purpose! Click the "partner with me" tab above for more information and to sign up for my monthly newsletters.

I am humbled by the grace of God in my life, and I can’t wait to see what God might accomplish through me in Togo as I return as a career missionary with ABWE. Thank you for your support of me and my work, and please pray for Togo!

In Christ’s Service,

Liz Ortiz
